On Sunday 30th September, Brean Play will be holding a Fun Day to raise awareness and vital funds for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
Apart from enjoying one of the best indoor play centres in the South West, families will be able to meet volunteers from the Hospice who will be attending with the popular Hospice Tombola and a display about the fabulous work they do.
Pete the Rabbit costume character will be meeting and greeting the children during the day, face painting will be taking place and a wheel of fortune offers the chance to win free return admissions to Brean Play or Splash.
Events will run from 10am to 4pm.
In the run up to the event, visitors will be invited to buy raffle tickets for a chance to win some fabulous prizes donated by local businesses and attractions.
Mike Barsby from Brean Leisure Park said: ‘We wanted to raise funds and more awareness for CHSW because of its work with life-limited children and their families and we hope lots of people will come along, join in the fun and help make the event a great success.’
While normal admission fees apply, Brean Play will be giving a small percentage of the day’s admissions to the Hospice.
